After perfecting his co-piloting abilities, Mike has decided it's his time to take to the helm and will be driving Ahmad Tea with Naomi Williams for the second season in a row.

In the 2009 season they had fantastic results and we have high hopes for them this season! Naomi is also hoping that her nimble light frame with help give them the edge.

Ben (ASBO) Adams is coming out of retirement for the 2010 season and will be competing with fierce and fiesty female Tilly Long.

Tilly will give all the men a run for their money and will never back down......

After attending a training day these guys were hooked! 2009 was their debut season and gained a nickname 'flipper'. By the end of the 2009 season this competitive team dedcided they needed a secret wepon for the 2010 season.

Armed with a new propeller for the 2010 season this team have gained a couple of mph and were 2nd for the first heat of the season!

After winning the 2007 longhaul world championship as a co-pilot, Etienne decided to adopt the role of Pilot. Pairing up with Will this determined team gained some fantastic results. We are looking forward to watching the team battle it out on the water for podium positions.

James has paired with ex racer Damion Bowen. We are expecting excellent results from this team as James has proven his driving ability coming 1st in the 2008 championship and 2nd in the 2009 championship by only one second place as he finished on joint points with Team Microlink PC...

With Damions enthusiasm and experience we are sure this team are only going to excel.

In 2009 brothers Jon and Edd Redman launched Redrourke Racing to become the youngest combined aged crew ever to race in the UK Thundercat series. During their first season they achieved a podium position at every event, finished 3rd overall in the P750s class and were awarded Newcomer of the Year. This family run team is based near Southampton and working hard to realise their full potential.

Jonathan Redman (Jon) is 20. After leaving college at the age of 18, Jon has been working at Premiere Marinas in Swanwick. He has been a seasonal Patrol Officer with the local Harbour Master and been skippering a Honda 150HP Formula 4-Stroke providing Corporate Events and Powerboat Experiences in the Solent. Jon has recently taken on the challenge of marketing Zego Sports Boats in the Southampton and Portsmouth area.

Edward Redman (Edd) is 17. After leaving The Greggs School in Southampton, Edd is studying for his A Levels at Barton Perverill College in Eastleigh. Edd is studying Maths, Business Studies and IT and helps out with financial aspects of the family business. Edd was introduced to the thrill of Thundercats at 13 and has never looked back.

'Bull and the Matador' otherwise known as Sean and Grant are one of the biggest contenders for the 2010 season. This highly experienced South African pair, will be sure to cause a stir on and off the water. Battling their way to the front of the field like a red rag to a bull! Grant also plays for the London SA Rugby team.

Bligh has been in and around powerboat racing for as long as he can remember watching his Dad in off shore racing. Starting Zapcat Racing back in 2001 Bligh is no 'rooky' to the sport although this will be his first year in P750 with the 'big boys' he is expected to be a massive contender in the 2010 championship.

James and Murray have had an outstanding success over the 2008 and 2009 season, winning both the RYA National and UIM European Championships. The boy's were both newcomers to the sport in 2008.

As we are all well aware the partnerships between engine, boat, props and crew are paramount to get the best set-up for the circuit. Thomas Bolton from Propellor solutions has been working hard with James tweeking to maximise their top speeds and mid range punch for the 2010 season.
