Glyn has joined forces to assist in our safety and training program to further the knowledge of our racers and be part of our on water safety for surf events. Its wonderful to have him on board; Glyn's first event will be Porthcawl on 24th and 25th October and we are all very excited that he has agreed to work with us to further the safety and education programs we wish to put in place for 2010.
Glyn Ovens operates Water Safety UK (WSUK), an independent centre of excellence in water safety procedures and operations.
Specializing in water based safety, rescue and training, with personal watercraft (PWC/Jetski™), applying a wealth of continually used and implememted field based exeperience and not just 'training based' training. The WSUK is a combination of training programs, from Hawaii to Wales, also to including some of the Shawn Alladio/K38 syllabus.
Glyn Ovens owns and operates Water Safety International/UK, through his knowledge, experience and training is one of the most experienced operators/instructors in Europe. With over a thousand hours of logged operating time. Having trained and instructing under the wing of K38/ Shawn Alladio (an internationally recognized benchmark for PWC training and rescue, based in the USA).
Internationally recognized as a K38 trained and NSBC (National Safe Boating Council) operative, training lifeguards, fire crews, enforcement officers, tow surfers, from around the world (Italy, Portugal, USA, Brazil, Australia, the list goes on)
