Our first event that all classes came together was never going to be easy but by the second day both teams joined together and all the racing ran smoothly. Not one red flag was flown throughout the weekend! Well done to all the classes for safe racing even though the saturday saw high winds, rain and rough seas. Big well done needs to go to Mike Reid who excelled himself by racing in all three classes in one day!! Although we will personally be thanking Penmaenmawr and everyone who helped we must commend the ones who assisted us with the coordination of the event: Viv Mooney & Councillor Ken Stevens (known to us as King Ken), Sue & Matt O'Reilly, Craig and Sue Petch from the Pen Sailing Club, Darryl and Wayne, Betty, Deputy Major of Pen - Harry (for being so adorable), all the Marshalls and everyone else who kindly helped throughout the event.
