Fiona - Whilst I spoke to you personally at the end of the event I would still like to type a brief note of thanks to you.

The catering afforded by your team for the event was excellent. I have heard nothing but praise and good comments from those who attended the event. It was excellent value for money and your team put in so much hard work and effort to feed everyone. Even when the afternoon buffet ran out after the locusts descended on Saturday the team made extra sandwiches for those who had missed out through being on the water at the time.
Please ensure they are all aware how grateful everyone was for their efforts.

The other thing to say was just how many circuit people enjoyed watching the Thundercats at the event. Whilst I appreciate that normally you have events on the surf etc you put on a great show on this tight circuit and it was really entertaining.

I personally would like to see us joining up more often (especially with your catering!). Due to the nature of the way you race and can leave boats in water etc it would be easy to accommodate you into National meetings when there are often delays in launching etc to run between classes. The other advantage is that your classes can still run even if weather conditions stop circuit boats competing. From an event organisers point of view it would cost no more to have your boats present as all safety, rescue, ambulances etc already in place. The only issue in some venues would be space or restriction of time on water.

The other thought that occurred to me was trying to get in on the Lowestoft Air Festival days where Honda now racing on the weekend immediately following the air show. To have a class racing close inshore in between the Honda offshore boats would add to the weekend as the Honda boats a long way out. The attendance at the air show days on Thursday/Friday this year was around 500,000 and there were tens of thousands on front for the Sat/ Sun Honda racing.

Hope the rest of your season goes well and look forward to seeing you again.
