Ok Guys and Girls,

Life has been so hectic in our community over the last month so here is a quick run down of what has and what is happening...

 P1 in Tunisia
I was off to Tunisia with Vee and the VoomVoom.com team racing in Powerboat P1, the weather was so hot that it was not plain sailing and it took its toll... with excellent preparation from John Ridd and good team workmanship from Vee and Gareth we are still holding 2nd place overall in the World Championships. 

Eastbourne Extreme Festival with ThunderCat racing as one of the main shows!
Thanks to Anton Roberts our resident Commentator and lunatic the event was heard from miles around, the racers plus organisers were looked after by Jen the masseuse, an extra added bonus to keep us all fit and well - helped the aches and pains for definate!   All the results will be posted shortly on the website so you can see who's leading! We are looking forward to next year and seeing this event grow from strength to strength.

The British International Motor Show - EXCEL
Fast and furious racing on the Victoria docks, excitement and entertainment was provided to huge crowds on the first weekend of the show - A big thank you to all the teams and officials for their professional approach to the event and for those who helped with two weeks of 'have a go's and demonstrations' whilst the show was on - you need to pat yourselves on the back!! you have helped forward our sport and community making the general public aware of what we are doing!!  

 NOW FOR WHAT'S TO COME..

9th - 10th August - The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire.                                      We are in Cheshire and one of the highlights for the Motor sports calendar  - This will be tight close racing and fun for all to see, camping facilities available for the teams and officials, parties and of course Anton's entertainment! lol... this will be a laugh! Vintage car racing, helicopters, circuit racing and lots more...

23rd and 24th August - Cowes Torquay Cowes
This historic event is on - off - but now is definately on being organised by the Round Britain team headed by Mike Lloyd.Interested in racing this infamous endurance race?

30th and 31st August - Training week-end
A fun weekend and training for ThunderCat's prior to the Europeans....  RYA level 2 / Inflatable boat course available for those who want it! this will be at a cost but general training is free!!

6th September - Amy's 21st party and one for all the community

13th and 14th September - PSP National race at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.                                                Racing over the first week-end of the show right in front of the marina - a real spectacle for all to see! 

18th - 21st September - The WhiteAir ThunderCat European Championship - Sandown Isle of Wight

24th - 26th September - Powerboat P1 in Porto Mao Portugal.
ThunderCats are racing on the beaches of Porto Mao - fantastic venue and event, if you want to be part and race let us know! boats are shipped for free, parties and food during the day are supplied all you need to do is pay for your flight and accommodation. 

11th and 12th October - Weymouth National Championships

8th and 9th November - 'Airbourne Championship' Southern Ireland
