Hi all,

Im race in the gold coast thundercats australia . Just a quick note- what type of props do you use over there, also what type of speed are you getting out of these porps.

We use mainly solas props, 15 pitch we get around the 80 km/hr speed out of it.{without prop guards}

Is this slow or about the right speed as you guys. please reply with any info thanks...

Always looking for more speed somewhere in the world

solas props don't work for me, they are heavy and slow, 80km/h is average, depending if you run a standard or printed motor, try pro-tech ... but remember the prop needs to be worked (sharpened, cupped etc. you should at least push 90 - 95km/h to get a position .....

Hi Chris,

In the UK we are using the Powertech and Vengeance props. we are running a standard out the box tohatsu and getting about 85km/h. and that is still not quite fast enough for us!!

sorry, I meant to say powertech, not pro-tech, pro-tech is the worst prop ever, the vengeance works for a couple of other guys that I race with but I don't particular like the vengeance as it doesn't work for me at all ......
